About Us

The story of HellaHearts and Mama Mosaic Artworks is a tale of an enduring friendship over several decades. We were brought together as children through shared extracurricular activities, and continued on through life as best friends. 

Diana, operating under HellaHearts, found her creativity bloom in the digital arts where Amy, partnering with HellaHearts under Mama Mosaic Artworks, found her zen with a paintbrush in hand. Careers, marriages and four collective children raised-to-adulthood later, we found our creative interests are, in fact, skills that bring introspection and happiness to those who obtain our work. 

“I have always loved funny T-shirts,” Diana explains, "It is so fun to go on streaks where every day someone new says, 'I love your shirt!' So one day it dawned on me that I could make a shop for other people like me, and thus Hella Hearts was born."

On the topic of deep feels, Amy presents paintings that have been described as soul searching, whimsical & surreal. She can take an otherwise beige colored coyote in a bland desert and transform it into a kaleidoscope of visual flavor. “I see life force energy in all things, even rocks,” she says. “I can appreciate the value of being alive and what a struggle life can be when learning hard lessons. My subjects reflect wear and tear, resiliency and just simply joy in being.”

Our continuing mission is to bring joy, laughter and all the feel good feels to people across the lands through art, apparel and other items. We specialize in nature-inspired arts, and humorous themes, but we have other interests too. We hope you find something you or someone you love will like here.
